Welcome to the Fresh Air Fest Hudson 2008

The Fresh Air Fest is the official Earth Day Celebration in Hudson, Mass. It is an annual event held each spring to promote environmental awareness, safety and community involvement.

This year, the fest will start in the morning with a series of environmental volunteer projects around the town, followed by a fair at the caboose on Main Street and the Assabet River Rail Trail. At the fair, there will be several tents with community

 organizations and environmentally-focused companies.

Walk or ride the Rail Trail and learn how to live a healthy lifestyle.  Join us for this exciting event and enjoy the fresh air!

Walking has never been so much fun! Nordic Walking that is!

(picture cross country skiing without the snow -and cold ) It's invigorating, fun, and best of all, easy to learn.

Nordic Walking burns up to 40% more calories than walking alone, is a low-impact, whole-body activity that improves cardiovascular fitness, exercises upper body and leg muscles for toning and endurance and is as easy as walking! Nordic Walking can also be combined with jogging and running for more rigorous workouts. Nordic Walking is for everyone!
